1940’s Inspired Overalls in Wabash
1940’s women’s workwear overalls made from a true vintage pattern. Classic Wabash fabric but in a darker indigo and donut buttons. The fabric will brighten up overtime when washed. I have a pair of my own and wear it almost every day! Such a comfy fit and really fun to style with. The overalls are meant to be oversized for a relax fit, but cinched would look good too.
The pattern I used is a size 14, 32”/26”/36”. It’s definitely best for a 32”-34” bust, 26-28” waist, and 36”-38” hips.
Additional measurements from finished garment:
Bib length- 11”
Waist- 28”
Hips- up to a 40”
Rise- 15”
Inseam- i can customize the inseam up to a 32”
Straps- 24”
The first two photos are the same style overalls, but in a brighter indigo Wabash. The accurate color of the overalls are the last 3 photos.
